Chad Kroeger Enhances Bad Boy Image With Alleged Bar Fight

Nickelback main man Chad Kroeger may soon find himself becoming the Canadian equivalent of Busta Rhymes if he keeps running afoul of the law.
The singer, songwriter, guitarist, producer and record label executive was allegedly involved in a fight outside a Vancouver nightclub early on Friday morning.
A local radio station reported that Kroeger punched another man in the face after being repeatedly heckled and subjected to such original insults as "Nickelback sucks."
Police confirmed that there was a fight outside the club, but wouldn't divulge any more details.
Kroeger (whose real last name is Turton) and a friend reportedly were engaged in an altercation with police at a strip club last month, but no charges were laid.
The musician was charged with impaired driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level of more than 0.8 last July following an investigation stemming from a June 22, 2006 incident in Surrey, B.C. where he was pulled over by police for allegedly speeding and driving erratically. He's still awaiting trial on that matter.
A special edition of Nickelback's All The Right Reasons album — complete with live tracks and a bonus DVD featuring music videos and behind the scenes footage — is slated for a mid-June release.
Hopefully Kroeger won't be driving the tour bus when Nickelback embark on a summer tour that will include these Canadian dates:
June 28 St. John's, NF @ Bay Roberts Festival
June 30 Charlottetown, PEI @ Festival Of Lights
July 1 Halifax, NS @ Citadel Hill
July 4 Toronto, ON @ Molson Amphitheatre
July 5 Ottawa, ON @ Lynx Stadium
July 7 Quebec City, QC @ Festival D'Ete
July 18 Sarnia, ON @ Bayfest
July 27 Calgary, AB @ Pengrowth Saddledome
July 30 Edmonton, AB @ Rexall Place
