Sum 41

Sum 41's new album and its first official single will both be called Underclass Hero.

The single will impact radio on May 15, while the Aquarius album will arrive in stores on July 24. The band will shoot a video for the single in Los Angeles on May 7. If you're in the hood and want to be part of the shoot, email underclassvideo@yahoo.com.

Album cut "March Of The Dogs" is already available through digital music retailers.

The 15-track follow-up to 2004's worldwide million-seller, Chuck, was produced by Sum singer/guitarist/keyboardist and Avril Lavigne hubby Deryck Whibley.

Sum 41 have become one of Canada's most popular bands since their Half Hour Of Power debut EP sold more than 50,000 copies domestically following its 2000 release. Subsequent albums did even better, with 2001's All Killer No Filler certified triple-platinum and 2002's Does This Look Infected and Chuck receiving double-platinum awards for sales of more than 200,0000.

The group play shows in Memphis, Tennessee and Tuscon, Arizona this week and have a concert in San Diego, California lined up for May 20. A Chicago, Illinois is slated for June 16, and the band will join the Warped Tour for six U.S. performances in August. No Canadian shows are scheduled at the moment.
