The Clientele Saved By God And Touring To Celebrate

Hampshire, England band The Clientele have caught the holy spirit and are rejoicing with a new album and tour to spread the news.
God Save The Clientele is the group's third LP and first since 2005's Strange Geometry. The 14-track disc was recorded in Nashville, Tennessee and will be released via Merge on May 8. It was produced by Lambchop's Marky Nevers (Calexico, Silver Jews), while Louis Philippe provided string arrangements.
The Clientele added new member Mel Draisey to play violin and keyboards for the album and to tour in support of it. The band will play Toronto's El Mocambo on June 4 and Montreal's Club Lambi on June 6.
