Boy George Arrested After Man Claims He Was Unwillingly Chained To A Wall

Boy George was arrested on the weekend after a man claimed that the former Culture Club singer chained him to a wall in the bedroom of the former pop star's London, England apartment.

Boy George (real name George O'Dowd) is accused of assault and false imprisonment following the incident involving 28-year-old Auden Carlsen.

The Norwegian claims that he was invited to George's place after they met on the Gaydar gay dating website, and he agreed to pose for photos while wearing "kinky outfits" in exchange for 400 pounds ($890 Canadian).

Carlsen alleges that he was jumped by George and another man who pinned him to a bed shortly after 5 a.m. on Saturday.

"I walked into the bedroom wearing my white underpants and a T-shirt and then I was jumped on by another man," said Carlsen in a report carried by bangshowbiz.biz. "George handcuffed me to a hook by the bed as they held me down."

There are no reports that Carlsen used the phrase, "Do you really want to hurt me?" during the incident, but he says that the other man left the room and George pulled out a box of sex toys and declared, "Now you'll get what you deserve."

Carlsen claims to have pulled the hook from the wall and fled from the apartment before phoning police from a nearby store.

"I was convinced I was going to die," he told Britain's The Sun newspaper.

George was arrested and taken to a nearby police station before being released on bail.

George served a community service sentence in New York City last August after he agreed to a plea bargain following his October 2005 arrest for filing a false release report and possessing cocaine at his Manhattan apartment.
