50 Cent Remembers His Real Name On New Album

G-Unit founder and head honcho 50 Cent is heading straight to the bank and he doesn't give a crap who he disses on the way.
The rapper/actor has been out of the music loop for a little while now, what with traffic violations, allegedly watching G-Unit member Tony Yayo slap a teenager around and writing books. But now 50 (real name Curtis Jackson) is eager to jump back on to the charts with his new album, Curtis.
Shady/Aftermath/Universal will release the CD on June 26, while "Straight To The Bank" can be heard on Fiddy's website. The MC worked with a roster of heavy-hitting producers, including Eminem (who also drops some lyrics on the album), Dr. Dre and beatmaker du jour, Timbaland.
Akon, Justin Timberlake, Mary J. Blige, Robin Thicke and Nicole Scherzinger from The Pussycat Dolls also lend their musical support to the New York City-bred artist's record.
Curtis is 50's third album and follows 2005's triple-platinum The Massacre. He wanted it to come out sooner, but was told by Eminem to wait it out and let his music career cool off a bit before unleashing another full-length.
The 2003 Get Rich Or Die Tryin' debut shot 50 to stardom and has sold more than 600,000 copies in Canada. Both previous albums debuted at #1 on the Canadian sales chart and spent a combined 10 weeks there.
