Joel Plaskett Emergency Leave Ashtray Rock To Embark On Tour

Halifax singer/songwriter Joel Plaskett is still riding high after winning three East Coast Music Awards, and he's keeping that momentum going with a tour in support of the excellent new Ashtray Rock album.

The Joel Plaskett Emergency recently returned from touring Australia, and are now gearing up for the Canadian journey. Peter Elkas will do double-duty by being the opening act and playing as part of the Emergency. While there are no east coast dates scheduled for the spring, the band promise to play shows around the region this summer.

Ashtray Rock's "Snowed In" and "Fashionable People" have been serviced to Canadian radio stations as singles.
