New Releases: Bright Eyes Go Big

Bright Eyes' sixth official full-length hits store shelves on Tuesday. Cassadaga features the Conor Oberst-led band's slickest alt.country sound yet. Get used to hearing it, because the group will probably be in your neighbourhood three times before the year's out.
Grinderman are Nick Cave and a few of the Bad Seeds' new project. The sort-of-concept album finds Cave playing guitar throughout for the first time in his lengthy career, and the band wearing some really bad-ass moustaches.
While 23 is the name of the recent Jim Carrey film, the new Blonde Redhead LP of the same name has nothing to do with it. Mind you, they're both dark and moody. And while the movie had Carrey obsessing over a book, Blonde Redhead have an obsessive fanbase. Don't you see the connection, people? 23! Think about it!
