Sum 41 Name "Underclass Hero" As First Single From Upcoming Album

Sum 41's first single from their as-yet untitled new album will be "Underclass Hero."
"I don't know when our label is going to release it at radio but it should be out by the first or second week of May," lead singer/guitarist Deryck Whibley wrote in a blog post on the band's MySpace page.
The album is expected to be released this summer and the band have been holding auditions for a new guitarist to replace Dave "Brownsound" Baksh, who left the band last spring to concentrate on his new group, Brown Brigade.
"We have no idea how long this will take so I can't really tell you when we will be back on tour," Whibley wrote in mid-March of the audition process.
Sum 41 had been working at Oceanway Studios in Los Angeles, where they used piano to write some material. The album was mixed in early March. Whibley, who produced the album, mastered it in New York City. Sum 41 have been confirmed for a few U.S. Warped Tour dates this summer, but no Canadian dates have been announced. The group's last studio album, Chuck, was released in 2004, the Rocked: Sum 41 In Congo documentary was issued in 2005, and the live Go Chuck Yourself album came out last year.
