The Bravery Will Be Less "Synth-Crazy" On The Sun And The Moon

The Bravery

New York City's The Bravery's follow-up to their self-titled 2005 debut will arrive in stores on May 22.

The Sun And The Moon was produced by two-time Grammy Award winner Brendan O'Brien (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam). Lead single "Time Won't Let Me Go" is at radio and available on iTunes. Samples of "Believe," "This Is Not The End" and "Time Won't Let Me Go" can be streamed on the band's website.

Lead singer Sam Endicott told the NME in October that the Island album will feature a different, less "synth-crazy" sound. "The Ocean" will be an acoustic, string-laden number, while "Every Word From Your Mouth Is A Knife In My Ear" sounds like "a weird mix between The Rolling Stones and The Ramones." The album may also give the chance to restart their ongoing beef with The Killers.

The quintet — Endicott, guitarist Michael Zakarin, bassist Michael Barreto Hindert, keyboardist John Conway and drummer Anthony Burulcich — have two Canadian dates scheduled on their upcoming North American tour. They perform at Vancouver's Commodore Ballroom on May 14 and Toronto's Opera House on May 28.

Here's the unofficial track list for The Sun And The Moon:

"Bad Sun""Time Won't Let Me Go"
"Tragedy Bound""Fist Full Of Sound"
