Kid Rock Under Investigation For Possible Assault

American badass Kid Rock — born Robert Ritchie — forgot his manners when he allegedly assaulted some woman in his home because she refused to spend the night.
Apparently the two met at a local bar in Oakland County, California, and Rock invited the woman and her friend to his place. The woman alleges that when she got up to leave, Rock wanted her to spend the night and he became loud and verbally aggressive when she continued to reach for the door to leave. According to the Oakland County Sheriff's Department report, when the unnamed woman went outside, Rock grabbed her by the back of the neck and pushed her towards her car, causing her to fall into a snow bank. Rock is disputing the allegations, stating that although he did have the woman over to hear his new album, he was the one who asked her to leave when she became obnoxious. The woman claimed she would charge him with assault if he kicked her out.
The accusor didn't seek medical attention, but revealed her alleged injuries to the reporting officer. She claims she was hit in the nose, though she's not sure when or how. The officer didn't find any visible marks on the woman. The woman's friend backed up her side of the story, but furthering the he-said, she-said, a friend who accompanied Rock supports his version of the incident. Oakland County Undersheriff Michael McCabe said the alleged assault is under investigation and that, "At this point, we have two people who say one thing and two other people who say something else. Once the investigation is completed, a report will be given to the Oakland County prosecutor's office."
No charges have been laid yet.
No stranger to controversy, Kid Rock has been involved in numerous incidents over the years — criminal and otherwise.
