No Canadian Dates On Huge Morrissey Tour

He said he was going to do it but we didn't actually believe him. The brazenly outspoken Morrissey is going on a "North American" tour, and it looks like he's skipping out on Canada all together.
The spring concert tour will begin on April 27 in Stockton, California and it's scheduled to end on June 30 in New York at Madison Square Garden. The expected 40-date tour haul is in support of his last album Ringleader Of The Tormenters. St. Louis, Missouri singer-songwriter Kristeen Young will be warming the stage for Moz so he can blast his latest political tirades at the audience. Morrissey's excitement in having Young on the tour was apparent on his MySpace blog, where he says, "Kristeen's single is 'Kill The Father,' and is the best song I've heard for 50 years. I especially love the line 'strangle Bowie with/his neckerchief' which, you must agree, is quite an idea."
Young and Moz appear to have a lot in common since Tony Visconti produced both of their most recent albums. Visconti has apparently signed on to work on Morrissey's next album as well. Morrissey's collaboration with Jesse Tobias, Alain Whyte and Boz Boorer on Tormenter proved to be a wise choice since the record debuted at #1 in the U.K.
Even though Morrissey refuses to stop by Canada for a show maybe we can persuade him to come by and help us with our squirrel scooping.
