Heather Mills May Two-Step Off Dancing With The Stars In Midst Of Divorce Hearings

Perhaps the stress of Heather Mills McCartney's court hearings regarding her divorce from Sir Paul McCartney has caused her to have second thoughts about appearing on the new season of the hit television show, Dancing With The Stars, which premieres on March 19.
The former model, who had part of her left leg amputated after a 1993 accident, caused some controversy when she signed on for the program, even though she said that she'd donate her earnings from it to animal charities. But she quit her lessons at a London studio to prepare for the show after just one day, sparking speculation that she'd follow in the footsteps of actor Vincent Pastore (who played "Big Pussy" on The Sopranos) and back out of Dancing With The Stars.
Earlier this week, however, Mills told U.S. entertainment show Extra that she's "quite happy to be thrown around and hopefully my leg will stay on. It's very unlikely my leg is going to fly off, although it would be quite funny. I'll have a strap on."
A strap-on? Hopefully it's for her prosthetic leg.
Mills might be concerned that going to the U.S. to tape the show could hurt her custody battle with McCartney, who doesn't want their three-year-old daughter Beatrice leaving England.
The former Beatles and Wings member and his estranged wife began their court proceedings this week in hopes of reaching a settlement and figuring out custody of Beatrice.
The pair appeared in London's High Court on Wednesday to discuss McCartney's alleged abuse during the marriage. They returned on Thursday to discuss their financial situations.
Wednesday was a more favourable day for McCartney, since his spouse's accusations of violence and drug and alcohol abuse were thrown out of court. He emerged from the courtroom smiling and flashing V-signs, his trademark salute for victory, while she left later, hiding behind a pair of dark glasses. On Thursday, Mills appealed to the court and asked McCartney to pay up big for her and Beatrice.
It's reported that Mills refused McCartney's 25 million pounds ($57 million Canadian) offer last month.
