Ryan Adams Slows Down With Easy Tiger

Ryan Adams

After posting 11 new albums on his website late last year and releasing three LPs via Lost Highway in 2005, Ryan Adams has slacked off and won't put out another record until June.

Easy Tiger, Adams' ninth proper solo studio effort, will be released by Lost Highway on June 5. While the former Whiskeytown frontman has built his musical reputation as a roots-influenced rocker, his reputation as an eccentric was bolstered by the online recordings he created under the DJ Reggie, The Shit and Werewolph banners.

So will Easy Tiger offer what most of Adams' fans probably want, or will it be a schizophrenic mix of punk, metal, hip-hop and electronica? Since the disc is coming out through Lost Highway, odds are it's the former. But with this unpredictable artist, you never can tell.

While the sequence of Easy Tiger hasn't been finalized, here are the songs that will be on it:
"Goodnight Rose"
"Everybody Knows"
"The Sun Also Sets"
"Halloween Head"
"Off Broadway"
"Two Hearts"
"Tears Of Gold"
"These Girls"
"Two"
"I Taught Myself How To Grow Old"
"Oh My God, Whatever, Etc."
"Rip Off"
"Pearls On A String"
