Half of young Hollywood has already seen Paris Hilton's headlights, but, unfortunately for the starlet, Los Angeles police didn't on Tuesday night.

The hotel heiress will have to appear in court, and could possibly be jailed, after being pulled over by the cops and found to be driving with a suspended licence.

Hilton was on her way home from the Virgin Megastore around 10:30 p.m. when she was stopped for allegedly speeding and not having the headlights of her $190,000 U.S. 2007 Bentley Continental GTC convertible turned on. She was given a ticket and her car was towed away and impounded.

Hilton pleaded no contest to alcohol-related reckless driving in January after she was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol last September. She was sentenced to three years probation on the condition that she'd be a law-abiding citizen.

If found guilty of violating her probation, Hilton could be put behind bars for up to 90 days, receive a longer probationary sentence and be subjected to fines and community service. A court date on the matter hasn't yet been set.

The 26-year-old's spokesperson, Elliot Mintz, told celebrity website TMZ that Hilton "was not aware" that her licence had been suspended. He added that the store's parking lot was "brightly lit" and that she "had not noticed that her headlights were not activated."
