City And Colour Live Features Bonus Goodies On CD And DVD

Fans of Chart's 2006 artist of the year, Dallas Green, can look forward to seeing and hearing a lot more of his City And Colour solo project.

The City And Colour Live CD/DVD package will be released on March 27 by Dine Alone Records. The set boasts both audio and video versions of 13 tracks recorded during Green's recent cross-Canada jaunts. In addition to tracks from 2005's Sometimes album, City And Colour Live will feature three unreleased songs, footage of a Halifax performance with Ron Sexsmith and an acoustic version of Alexisonfire's "Happiness By The Kilowatt." A limited-edition release will also include a USB drive containing bonus video material.

City And Colour Live's impending release isn't the only thing that Green has to look forward to. He's up for five Juno Awards, including top alternative album (for Sometimes) and group (with Alexisonfire). Green will perform with both acts at the April 1 awards ceremony in Saskatoon.

Green has also netted three Canadian Music Week Indie nominations. Alexisonfire's "Crisis" is up for favourite album, while City And Colour's "Save Your Scissors" earned nods in the single and video categories.
