The D'Urbervilles And Forest City Lovers Tour Together

D'Urbervilles

Ontario indie acts Forest City Lovers and The D'Urbervilles will travel east as part of their "Moose Crawl" tour in March.

FCL recently added bassist Kyle Donnelly and unfortunately-named drummer Paul Weadick to the lineup. Vocalist/guitarist and group founder Kat Burns said on the band's website that they're "pretty excited" about the upcoming tour because "the Maritimes are pretty great and we're happy to have the chance to go back out there."

The east coast trek is a prelude to a possible western tour slated to begin in July in support of FCL's Andy Magoffin-produced 2006 release, The Sun And The Wind.

The tour is a collaboration with The D'Urbervilles, who Donnelly also plays with. The D'Urbervilles — Tim Bruton, John O'Regan, Steve Hesselink and Donnelly — toured in the fall with Controller.Controller and You Say Party! We Say Die!.

Both the Forest City Lovers and The D'Urbervilles are featured on the new Friends In Bellwoods compilation.
