It's been a year since the release of Feist's Open Season remix album, and three since her Let It Die breakthrough, so she may have had a few reminders that she was overdue for some new material.

The Calgary native seems to have taken those hints to heart, and Arts & Crafts will release The Reminder on May 1. Feist told ChartAttack at last year's Juno Awards that her new album would feature more guitar and contributions from Mocky, Chilli Gonzales, Jamie Lidell and her Canadian band members, Bryden Baird, Jesse Baird and Julian Brown. What appears to be the new record's cover, but no other information, can be found on Feist's website.

If you're really desperate to hear The Reminder and don't mind forking out extra cash for an import copy, it will come out internationally a week before hitting stores in Canada and the U.S.

Feist has been nominated for favourite solo artist at this year's Canadian Independent Music Awards, which take place at Toronto's Docks on March 7.

The part-time Broken Social Scene member has five shows scheduled in England, France and Germany in April, and Canadian dates in support of The Reminder are expected later this year.

Here are the songs on The Reminder:
"So Sorry"
"I Feel It All"
"My Moon My Man"
"The Park"
"The Water"
"Sea Lion Woman"
"Past In Present"
"Limit To Your Love"
"1 2 3 4"
"Brandy Alexander"
"Intuition"
"Honey Honey"
"How My Heart Behaves"
