Paul Weller Releasing First Career-Spanning Collections

Paul Weller — 24 villain, solo artist and former frontman for The Jam and The Style Council — is starting 2007 off with a bang with the release of a four-disc boxed set, a single disc hits collection and a DVD companion to the boxed set.
Hit Parade, the title of both Weller's first career-spanning boxed set and the 23-track single disc version, will land in record stores on Jan. 23 via Yep Roc. The 67-track boxed set reaches back to 1977 and the beginning of The Jam (who still hold the U.K. record for most simultaneous top 75 singles), continues with his days as leader of The Style Council, and moves right on through his successful solo career. The two-DVD Hit Parade set will follow from Yep Roc on Feb. 6. It features a video for each single on the boxed set and includes both studio and live tracks.
Both the DVD package and boxed set will come with a custom hardbound book.
