ChartAttack Readers' Faves Up For Canadian Radio Music Awards

City And Colour, Mobile and Neverending White Lights are among the acts with multiple nominations for this year's Canadian Radio Music Awards.

The awards will be handed out at a gala luncheon at Toronto's Royal York Hotel at 12:30 p.m. on March 10 as part of Canadian Music Week. The show, hosted by R&B artist Jully Black, will feature performances by Neverending White Lights, George, Rex Goudie, Suits XL, Gregory Charles and Eva Avila. Triumph will be inducted into the Canadian Music Industry Hall Of Fame. Tickets are available through the CMW website.

Nominations in most categories are based on airplay on various radio formats by artists who hit Canadian charts for the first time in 2006. Votes by radio programmers and on-air personalities will decide the winners. There are also two non-voting honours and the CRMA Fans' Choice Award, where people can vote online at the CMW site for one of the five finalists.
