Wu-Tang Clan Are Back In A Big Way

Hip-hop legends Wu-Tang Clan plan to release their first group effort since 2001's Iron Flag, and members are also featured on two compilations coming out this month.
The new Wu-Tang disc will come out via SRC Records, which is headed by Steve Rifkind, whose former Loud Records label released the first two Wu-Tang albums: 1993's Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) and 1997's Wu-Tang Forever. No title, release date or any other information has been announced.
Nature Sounds is releasing two compilations, Wu-Tang Clan & Friends: Unreleased and Natural Selection 2.0: A Digital Survival Guide, on Jan. 23. The former features rare and previously unreleased tracks from all surviving Wu Tang members, remixed by Mathematics, along with contributions from Cappadonna, Killah Priest and others. The latter is a digital-only release that's already available through iTunes and features input from GZA, Raekwon, U-God, Masta Killa, Inspectah Deck, Mathematics, Pete Rock, Talib Kweli, Little Brother, Styles P and MF Doom (using his Viktor Vaughn alias), among others.
