Loose Ends: Snoop Dogg Arraignment, Ted Leo's LP And Rock Plaza Central's Label

According to an Associated Press report, Snoop Dogg's arraignment on a felony weapons charge has been delayed until January. Snoop (real name Cordozar Calvin Broadus) was in court on Monday, where his lawyer asked for a delay so he could review all the evidence. Snoop signed a waiver that allows him to skip future "non-substantive" hearings.
Ted Leo + The Pharmacists will release their first album for Touch & Go on March 20. Living With The Living was produced by Fugazi drummer Brendan Canty and features 15 tracks, Billboard.com reports. Leo's last record was 2004's Shake The Sheets. They plan to tour through the spring of 2008. That's some frightening advance planning.
Rock Plaza Central have been receiving nothing but praise for their recent independent release, Are We Not Horses. However, it's no longer independent. The Outside Music Label, which has released albums this year from Nassau, Blood Meridian and Oneida, has stepped in to distribute the record, which was produced by Dale Morningstar at his Gas Station studio on Toronto Island.
