New Pornographers Issue Limited-Edition Live Album

The New Pornographers should have their fourth studio album in stores by the beginning of summer, but some fans may be lucky enough to get their hands on a limited-edition live LP before that.
Live! was recorded at shows on tour last fall and early this year in support of 2005's Twin Cinema album. The band have made 1,000 copies, which they'll sell on their five-date Australian tour that starts on Friday in Melbourne. However, they also plan to make some available through their website.
Many of the power-pop supergroup's members have their own musical projects they're busy with as well. Among the releases we're likely to see next are Schmancey from Todd Fancey's Fancey, something from Hello, Blue Roses (Dan Bejar and girlfriend Sydney Vermont's band, who are currently recording their debut in Spain) and a new album from Destroyer.
The New Pornographers will play two shows in Japan in January and perform at Toronto's Nathan Phillips Square on Feb. 3 as part of the WinterCity 2007 festival.
Here are the songs on Live!:
"The End Of Medicine”
“Use It”
“Jackie, Dressed In Cobras”
“The Laws Have Changed”
“Testament To Youth In Verse”
“These Are the Fables”
“From Blown Speakers”
“Streets Of Fire”
“It's Only Divine Right”
“The Fake Headlines”
“Execution Day”
“Sing Me Spanish Techno"
