Heavy Hitters Helping Timbaland On New Album

Timbaland is promising an all-star cast of contributors for his fifth album, tentatively titled Timbaland Presents Shock Value.
The artist/producer, who's had a big year through his work on Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado's albums, aims to show people that he shouldn't be typecast as an urban music specialist.
"I'm not just hip-hop," Timbaland told MTV News. "My mission is to take over top 40 radio — what they call popular music, different genres of music — and reach all types of people."
To help him accomplish this goal, the man born Tim Mosley 35 years ago is enlisting the support of some of his A-list friends. Since he's producing 50 Cent's new album, Fiddy will return the favour and appear on Timbaland's record. And while it's not much of a stretch to imagine Dr. Dre, Jay-Z and Lil Wayne taking part, Timbaland is also looking for help from She Wants Revenge, The Hives, Fall Out Boy and Bjork.
"Give It To Me," the first single from the album, features guest turns from Furtado and Timberlake. Timbaland and Elton John recorded a song called "Last Piece Of The Puzzle" in Las Vegas.
"It was cool," Timbaland said of the pairing."I didn't have him sing, I had him play. I was like, 'Go ahead, John.' I might get a choir to sing on top of it.
"The album will be released on Timbaland's Mosley Music imprint and is expected to arrive in March.
