On The Road Again: Guns N' Roses, Emily Haines And God Forbid

We waited until the last minute to post Guns N' Roses' Canadian tour dates because, quite frankly, we were doubtful that they'd actually take place. But while the long-promised Chinese Democracy album that Axl Rose assured fans would see the light of day this year is still nowhere to be found on Universal's release schedule, the hard rock band have been doing a pretty good job of keeping to their North American tour itinerary with Peterborough, Ontario's Sebastian Bach and the Suicide Girls. So without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, here are Guns N' Roses' Canadian dates:
Nov. 15 Toronto, ON @ Air Canada Centre
Nov. 17 Ottawa, ON @ Scotiabank Place
Nov. 18 Quebec City, QC @ Colisee Pepsi
Nov. 20 Halifax, NS @ Metro Centre
Dec. 4 Winnipeg, MB @ MTS Centre
Dec. 6 Calgary, AB @ Pengrowth Saddledome
Dec. 7 Edmonton, AB @ Rexall Place
Emily Haines And The Soft Skeleton's Knives Don't Have Your Back hasn't exactly made fans forget about Metric, but the album has sold more than 15,000 copies and is performing well on the Canadian campus radio chart. To get a look and listen of Haines' more introspective side, pay a visit to one of these venues:
Jan. 4 Montreal, QC @ Theatre Outremont
Jan. 5 Ottawa, ON @ Bronson Centre
Jan. 6 Toronto, ON @ Danforth Music Hall
Jan. 14 Winnipeg, MB @ Garrick Theatre
Jan. 16 Calgary, AB @ Grand Theatre
Jan. 17 Edmonton, AB @ Citadel Theatre
Jan. 18 Vancouver, BC @ Commodore Ballroom
American metal band God Forbid are venturing north to play some dates in support of their IV: Constitution Of Treason album with Canadian homeboys Protest The Hero and The Human Abstract. It's not our fault if your ears bleed at these gigs:
Dec. 9 Toronto, ON @ Phoenix
Dec. 10 Barrie, ON @ The Foundation
Dec. 12 Guelph, ON @ Cowboy's Bar
Dec. 13 Montreal, QC @ Club Lambi
Dec. 14 London, ON @ The Salt Lounge
Dec. 15 Ottawa, ON @ Babylon
Dec. 16 Burlington, ON @ The Music Centre
