Simple Plan Reset Time With Canadian Only Reissue

Before Simple Plan were Simple Plan, they were Reset, a group featuring drummer Chuck Comeau, lead singer Pierre Bouvier and bassist David Desrosiers.
The group, who formed in the mid-'90s, toured in support of two albums that have been out of print for years. But now they're being combined into one special Canada-only release.
According to Simple Plan's website, Reset's 1997 No Worries debut and 1999's No Limits follow-up are going to be repackaged as one. No Worries/No Limits, slated for a Nov. 14 release, will feature 25 remastered tracks as well as new artwork and liner notes penned by Bouvier and Comeau. Simple Plan are so popular in Brazil that popular demand will draw them down there for two shows in January.
"The fans of Brazil have taken over our comment page," Bouvier wrote on the band's MySpace site last week. "They have like 'petitions' requesting us to come down to Brazil and play shows! That's crazy and so amazing! I was browsing our 'friends' and I think almost everybody is from Brazil! What is up with that??? I love it."
Simple Plan guitarist Sebastien Lefebvre and longtime associate Patrick Langlois have been hosting a live podcast called Man Of The Hour (named after a side project band) every Saturday at 9 p.m. since Aug. 13 on Idobi Radio. The show is also available as a free download from iTunes nine days after its original airing.
"We play songs we like, talk about bands and music news, and we call people from other bands when we get tired of hearing each other talk," says Langlois of the program. "We also think the world is a better place when we have an outlet to share our views.
"You might notice that the global price of gasoline has gone down drastically since our podcast started. Coincidence? We don't think so."
