Kanye West Blows A Gasket At MTV Europe Music Awards

Kanye West's already large ego exploded on Thursday night at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The hip-hop artist/producer rushed the stage and ranted about how he felt cheated after Justice Vs. Simian's "We Are Your Friends" video was named the best of the year over West's "Touch The Sky." He said the awards show lost credibility by not giving his video, which was named best hip-hop clip, the top honour.
"[My video] cost a million dollars," West shouted in his weak argument. "Pamela Anderson was in it. I was jumping across canyons and shit."
West didn't calm down backstage either, where MTV U.K. reports that he told the media, "I haven't seen [the Justice Vs. Simian video]. Possibly it could have been quite good, but no way better than 'Touch The Sky.' That is complete bullshit. I paid a million. Obviously it's not all about the money, but the response it got transcended everything. It really made great TV. It took a month to film. I stood on a mountain. I flew a helicopter over Vegas. I did it to be the king of all videos and I wanted to walk home with that award."
But the man who said that George Bush doesn't care about black people apparently cares for the show's host, Justin Timberlake, who was named best male.
"Obviously Justin should have won," West said. "He's on fire and he's an inspiration to me."
The show featured performances by Timberlake, Nelly Furtado, The Killers, Snoop Dogg, Keane, Muse and Finland's Lordi, while Borat (Sacha Baron Cohen) also made an appearance. Here are the MTV Europe Music Award winners:
