New Releases: Beck Spews Information And The Killers Go To Town

Beck

Beckity Beck Beck Beck. What can you say about Beck? Well, tons, we suppose. His new album is called The Information. It's produced by Nigel Godrich, who also did Mutations and Sea Change. It sounds like neither of those. There's a sticker pack inside so you can make your own cover. It's available Tuesday. What more do you want?

The Killers are going to Sam's Town. We don't know which town that is, how they got there or why they went, but they're there. If you're interested, you can pick up the full-length explanation this week.

Evanescence are re-emerging from the murky depths from which they sank after their multi-platinum lustre wore off a couple of years ago. Amy Lee is minus Ben Moody this time around, but hasn't given up on the angst. The band's new LP is called The Open Door and it's out Tuesday.

It's been eight years since Sean Lennon released the critically acclaimed but virtually ignored Into The Sun. Since then he's mostly been backing up friends and making out with Bijou Phillips. But he's decided to come to the forefront once again in the form of Friendly Fire, which is in stores this week.
