Foo Fighters To Release Acoustic CD And DVD

Foo Fighters will release a CD and DVD of live acoustic material recorded during their recent tour.

The CD, Skin And Bones, will be released by RCA on Nov. 7. It will feature 15 tracks that were recorded at three August shows at Los Angeles' Pantages Theater. The band featured an expanded lineup for those concerts, including guitarist Pat Smear, violinist Petra Haden and keyboardist Rami Jaffee.

The album will feature many of the band's most popular songs, along with the Nirvana B-side, "Marigold," which was originally written and sung by Dave Grohl.

A DVD, featuring more songs from the Pantages shows and still unannounced extra features, will be released later in November.

Foo Fighters played Toronto's Hummingbird Centre on Aug. 23 and will be in Canada again in November supporting Bob Dylan on these dates:
