Toronto rockers Danko Jones played festivals and headlining shows in front of thousands of people all over Europe this summer, but have returned home to give Canadian fans another taste of songs from this year's Sleep Is The Enemy album and other tunes from their catalogue. The power trio's current single is "First Date," so perhaps you can go on one at one of these shows:

D.O.A.
frontman Joey "Shithead" Keithley's Sudden Death label has just reissued the veteran Vancouver punk band's 1983 Bloodied But Unbowed album, which was originally culled from the group's first two albums, early singles and EPs. It's available on CD and in a limited-edition picture disc 12-inch vinyl version. Keithley is also interviewed and his band performs in the new documentary, American Hardcore, which makes its Canadian premiere on Wednesday evening as part of the Toronto International Film Festival. The screening will be followed by an after-party at the Horseshoe Tavern where D.O.A. will perform along with Flipper. Here are your chances to witness D.O.A.:

Canadian singer, songwriter, producer and guitarist Danny Michel is heading west from Ontario to promote his latest album, Valhalla, and he'll be joined by Lullaby Baxter for some shows during his tour. Michel will trade a van for a ship on October 28 when he boards the Carnival Triumph for a week to play guitar with Andy Kim during a Caribbean cruise that will also feature performances from The Four Tops, Righteous Brother Bill Medley and Paul Revere & The Raiders. Michel will return to land to close out November with a few more gigs. Experience Valhalla here:
