50 Cent Lands In Police Station Due To Traffic Violations

Rap superstar 50 Cent is also a busy entrepreneur with a lot of projects on the go, so maybe he doesn't have time to keep track of such mundane things as renewing his driver's licence or getting auto insurance.
Fiddy was pulled over by plainclothes police officers in an unmarked car while driving his silver Lamborghini near New York City's Madison Square Garden around 2 p.m. on Friday afternoon. The man born Curtis Jackson was stopped for allegedly making an unsafe lane change.
He sat in the expensive sports car as fans took photos and police continued their investigation of the incident, and he was eventually led away in handcuffs. Despite calls of "Don't arrest him" from onlookers, the G-Unit leader was put in the back of a cruiser that drove him to a nearby police station while his vehicle was towed away.
At the station, 50 Cent was given summonses for driving with an expired permit, driving an unregistered vehicle, driving without insurance and making an unsafe lane change. He was released after a friend showed up with proof that the hip-hop mogul owned the Lamborghini. The friend, who had a valid driver's licence, drove him away.
50 Cent is due to appear in court for the summonses at a still unspecified date.
