On The Road Again: James Blunt, Dwight Yoakam And Les Breastfeeders

British singer/songwriter James Blunt will milk more out of his multi-platinum Back To Bedlam debut album with a 35-date North American tour that opens in Montreal and ends in Las Vegas and includes six more Canadian shows in between. Also look for copies of Blunt's Chasing Time: The Bedlam Sessions DVD at the merch tables of these arenas:

Don't be surprised if Dwight Yoakam — the new traditionalist who Johnny Cash called his favourite country singer, and who just launched his own food brand — plays a set similar to what appeared on last year's fine Live From Austin, TX release on his upcoming Canadian tour. It's less likely that the singer, songwriter, guitarist and actor will recite his lines from such films as Sling Blade, Panic Room and Wedding Crashers. Canadian artist Johnny Reid will open for Yoakam at all of these performances:

Montreal garage rock combo Les Breastfeeders have become stars in their home province, and will look to widen their scope when their Les Matins De Grands Soirs album is released in France and the U.S. next year.
