New Releases: The Dears Admit They're Losers

It's been a few years since we've heard anything new from The Dears. That doesn't mean that they've been silent. Since No Cities Left came out in 2003, they've been steadily building a worldwide fanbase. They now seem poised to explode with the release of Gang Of Losers, which is out this week.
One artist who can never seem to stay away for too long is Bob Dylan. The icon has had a busy few years since Love & Theft was released, appearing as basically himself in the underwhelming Masked & Anonymous, and touring almost non-stop. In the midst of all that, he somehow found a few minutes to record this Tuesday's new LP, Modern Times.
The Roots were one of the best parts of one of this year's coolest movies, Dave Chappelle's Block Party. Some members of the group perform as the backing band for the entire event. They're taking centre stage once again with Game Theory, which is out this week.
Would Chantal Kreviazuk still be famous if her husband wasn't Raine Maida? Alas, we'll never know. Mr. OLP is the producer of her new effort, Ghost Stories, which sees her ditching a guitar-based sound in favour of a more keyboard-driven one. You can find it in stores on Tuesday.
