Oxford Collapse Parties With Sub Pop

When ChartAttack last spoke to Brooklyn, New York trio Oxford Collapse in January, the band mentioned shopping around for a label on which to release their then-unrecorded third album. Seven months later, we can tell you that the LP, titled Remember The Night Parties, will be released via Sub Pop on October 10.
Guitarist/vocalist Michael Pace, bassist/vocalist Adam Rizer and drummer Dan Fetherston originally formed Oxford Collapse as a joke party band in 2001. But as they developed and started to gain a following, they evolved into a melodic art pop group that have toured with Toronto's Constantines and other notable indie rock acts. They released their Some Wilderness debut and last year's A Good Ground through Kanine Records before making the move to Sub Pop.
Remember The Night Parties was recorded this summer at Brooklyn's Headgear Studios with producer John Agnello (Sonic Youth, The Hold Steady).
