The Tragically Hip's first new studio album since 2004's In Between Evolution will be titled World Container and be released by Universal on Oct. 17.

Lead single "In View" will precede the record, which was produced by Bob Rock (Metallica, Bon Jovi, The Cult). The band will perform at the Ovation Music Festival in Stratford, Ont. on Sept. 9, where they will likely play some of their new songs, which include "Pretend," "Fly," "The Drop Off," "Ocean" and "The Lonely End Of The Rink."

Jack White's Detroit house is up for sale for $930,000 U.S.

White moved into the mansion in 2003 and recorded some of the last White Stripes album, Get Behind Me Satan, there. Before White, Academy Award-winning actress Ann Harding once made the residence her home. Real estate buffs and the merely curious can find out more about the house here.

Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz topped a list of AOL searches for nude photos, beating out Pamela Anderson and Paris Hilton. The musician's popularity was revealed when AOL accidentally released search data from 650,000 customers earlier this month. Fall Out Boy are currently recording the follow-up to last year's From Under The Cork Tree album.

Babyshambles singer Pete Doherty seems to be having a rough time in the Priory rehabilitation clinic that he's been forced to stay at while he awaits sentencing on his latest drug charges.

The U.K.'s Mirror newspaper quoted a source who said that Doperty punched a nurse and kicked the door and punched the walls of his room, while screaming, "I don't fucking want to be here, I've fucking had enough!"

He's also been calling out for his on-again/off-again girlfriend, supermodel Kate Moss. The paper reports that the clinic has assigned Doperty his own security guard.

The rapper once known as C-Murder (real name Corey Miller) has been ordered back under house arrest as he awaits a second trial on a murder charge.

Earlier this summer, a judge had allowed Miller to move around with a curfew, but this new ruling reverses that order and only allows him to leave his home for court hearings. Miller, 35, was charged with second-degree murder in the fatal shooting of 16-year-old Steve Thomas in 2002.

Bruce Gary, a drummer who's probably best remembered for the big beat on The Knack's 1979 smash, "My Sharona," has passed away in a Los Angeles hospital at age 54.

Gary also played with George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Stephen Stills, Rod Stewart, Sheryl Crow, Bette Midler, Jack Bruce, Yoko Ono, Harry Nilsson, The Doors' Robby Krieger, Albert Collins, Albert King, John Lee Hooker and Spencer Davis over the years. He also co-produced a series of posthumously released Jimi Hendrix records.
