Paris Is Coming, And We Can't Stop It

Well, we warned you. Paris Hilton's debut album is due to see the light of day on August 22 via Warner Bros.
In the same way that she has trouble finding boyfriends with different names than hers, Paris apparently found it difficult to name the new disc something other than after herself. Paris, the album, will test the world's tolerance for the over-exposed diva with a full disc of inexperienced pop star offerings.
It took an enormous team of producers to make Paris listenable, including Scott Storch (50 Cent, Beyonce), Jonathan Rotem (Rihanna) and Dr. Luke (Pink, Kelly Clarkson). Songwriting help came from Kara DioGuardi (Gwen Stefani, Christina Aguilera), Billy Steinberg (Madonna, Cyndi Lauper) and Sheppard Solomon (Natalie Imbruglia).
Grammy Award-winning engineers Tony Maserati (Black Eyed Peas) and Serban Ghenea (Justin Timberlake) mixed the album, which was recorded over the last year in Miami and Los Angeles.Lead single/video "Stars Are Blind" has been delighting teenage girls (and angering music snobs) for several weeks now. It hit #1 on the Canadian version of iTunes only five days after its release, giving this country the distinction of being the first to allow the hotel heiress to top a music sales chart.
Hip-hoppers Fat Joe and Jadakiss collaborate with Paris on "Fightin' Over Me," while the blond fellatio fan asks "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy" on her cover of the Rod Stewart smash.
When Paris arrives in stores, it will be available as a limited edition CD/DVD package featuring a "making of the album" film that includes studio footage and interviews with producers, songwriters and the princess herself.
Here are the tracks on Paris:
"Turn It Up”
“Fightin' Over Me”
“Stars Are Blind”
“I Want You”
“Jealousy”
“Heartbeat”
“Nothing In This World”
“Screwed”
“Not Leaving Without You”

“Do Ya Think I'm Sexy"
