Loose Ends: Three Days Grace In Rehab Centres, Peaches Likes Seals And Virgin Festival Additions

Three Days Grace are playing free shows at a number of treatment facilities and rehabilitation and detention centres across the U.S. as part of their current Three Days To Change Tour.
Band frontman Adam Gontier is also taking part in Q&A sessions as part of the performance, since he's come clean about his days as an addict. He should have a good time talking to Keith Richards when Three Days Grace open for The Rolling Stones in Regina, Sask. on Oct. 6 and 8.
Peaches has joined the long line of celebrities to support People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals' campaign against Canada's seal hunt.
The 39-year-old raunch-rocker is featured in a new print ad that shows her posing next to a photo of a hunter about to bludgeon a baby seal. The words "Canada's Club Scene Sucks" appear next to it.
Toronto's Virgin Festival has added more acts to its growing roster. Razorlight, Kid Koala and David Ford will perform on Sept. 9, while The Strokes, Amon Tobin, MSTRKRFT, Mooney Suzuki and Born Ruffians will take the stage the next day. Tickets for the event on the Toronto Islands are available through Future Shop and Ticketmaster.
Rock Kills Kid lead singer Jeff Tucker was awoken in his Honolulu, Hawaii hotel room at 5:30 a.m. on Sunday to find an intruder standing over him.
The man then fled the scene with Tucker's wallet, cell phone, credit card and room key, but was chased down by the artist and the band's manager, Rodney Afshari. They held him until police arrived to make an arrest. The cops allege that 20-year-old U.S. Navy member Brandon Riester climbed on to Tucker's fifth-floor balcony and entered and exited his room through a sliding door. The Reprise act were in Honolulu to perform at the Band Camp Festival on Saturday.
