Emmanuel Santarromana Hopes To Remain Fab 4 Ever

Emmanuel Santarromana

Parisian multi-instrumentalist Emmanuel Santarromana will offer a new spin on 12 Beatles tracks on his forthcoming Fab 4 Ever set.

Santarromana, who has a classical music background, started his career at a young age with the Rouen Opera Choir. He later got into electronica and the clubbing scene by performing as a percussionist with the likes of DJ Mandrax, Charles Schillings and Laurent Garnier at clubs throughout the U.K. and France.

Santarromana began DJing in 1998 and hasn't looked back since. He's been featured on various compilations and released his Metropolitain debut album in 2002. He recorded his first Beatles cover, "We Can Work It Out," more than five years ago for the Barbara Bui: Whisper And Soul compilation.

Santarromana conceived the new album — which will be released on October 10 courtesy of the French label, Pschent — with longtime collaborator Sebastien Fauvel. Fab 4 Ever features numerous guest vocalists and musicians, including Nedeah Muranda, Bianca Li, Marie Payen, Zita Lotis-Faure, Newton and Constance Verluca.

Santarromana's eclectic reworking of the songs, which incorporate a number of musical styles, had to be authorized by the rights owners, which took more than a year of negotiations before they could be released.

Here are the tracks on Fab 4 Ever:
"Back In The USSR"
"Come Together"
"Blackbird"
"You've Got To Hide Your Love Away"
"Paperback Writer"
"Flying"
"Strawberry Fields Forever"
