New Releases: DMX Takes Break From Arrests To Release His Dog

DMX

It seems like, every few weeks, DMX finds some way to get thrown in jail for 70 days or so. In one of the interims, he found time to record Year Of The Dog... Again. Now the test will be if he can he stay out of the can long enough to promote it. Find out when it hits store shelves this week.

Towers Of London feature a lot of hair and screaming and look as though they walked out of a time machine driven by Michael J. Fox in 1985. Their new full-length, Blood, Sweat & Towers, is in stores on Tuesday. If it's a failure, they'll return to the year from whence they came. Maybe.

The Sleepy Jackson released their Lovers debut three years ago and promptly disappeared off the face of the Earth. Well, they've apparently dug themselves out of the ground, minus an original member or two, and have mustered up the strength to produce Personality — One Was A Spider One Was A Bird. It's out this week.

Attention Slipknot fans: the band are still together. But while they're taking a "break," Corey Taylor has amassed another record of Stone Sour material. Come What(ever) May, out Tuesday, likely won't offend fans of either band.

Here are other releases coming out this week:
FIVE FOR FIGHTING Two Lights (Aware/Sony BMG)
KILL HANNAH Until There's Nothing Left Of Us (Atlantic/Warner)
KELLY JOE PHELPS Tunesmith Retrofit (Rounder/Universal)
THE PINK SPIDERS Teenage Graffiti (Geffen/Universal)
RUPAUL Reworked (Yep Roc/Outside)
SEX MOB Sexotica (Thirsty Ear/Outside)
