Lady Sovereign Issuing Public Warning

British grime MC Lady Sovereign has taken a long enough break from saving the hoodie and dating her fans to complete her first full-length album.
Public Warning, due for release on Oct. 3 via Def Jam, will feature 12 Sovereign songs. More than half of them have already been released on her 2005 Vertically Challenged EP or as singles.
Various outlets were reporting last year that Sovereign's debut LP would be named Straight Up Cheeky, but the rapper revealed in an interview with AllHipHop.com that the title was essentially a joke.
"People kept asking me, 'What are you gonna call your album?'" she said. "I didn't know at the time, so I was just like, 'Uhhh... Straight Up Cheeky,' so people began to get that impression."
"Love Me Or Hate Me," Public Warning's first single, hits radio next month.
Lady Sovereign will perform on Sept. 3 at Montreal's Osheaga Festival.
Here are the tracks on Public Warning:
"9 To 5"
"Gatheration"
"Random"
"Public Warning"
"Love Me Or Hate Me"
"My England"
"Tango"
"A Little Bit Of Shhh"
"Hoodie"
"Those Were The Days"
"Blah Blah"
"Fiddle With The Volume"
