Razorlight Ready To Reach Across The Atlantic With New Album

Razorlight

British alternative rockers Razorlight, who've established themselves as stars in their homeland, are hoping to raise their success level in North America with the Aug. 22 release of their self-titled second album.

Razorlight are a British-Swedish hybrid made up of Johnny Borrell (vocals, guitar), Bjorn Agren (guitar), Carl Dalemo (bass) and Andy Burrows (drums). The band's Up All Night debut entered the U.K. album chart at #1 and has sold more than a million copies since its 2004 release. The quartet have also played all of the major British television shows and music festivals, including Live 8 and a headlining slot at Glastonbury last summer.

The new Universal album was produced by Chris Thomas (Pink Floyd, Roxy Music, The Pretenders) and features the single, "In The Morning." The song has reached #3 on the U.K. singles sales chart and can be downloaded from the band's website.
