Korn frontman Jonathan Davis was admitted to a London, England hospital over the weekend for the treatment of an unspecified illness.

Davis' health problems come amidst several European festival gigs. Korn pulled out of Ireland's Download Festival on Sunday and are expected to cancel their headlining performance at the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam on Tuesday. The band performed a shortened, 30-minute set featuring guest singers at the U.K. Download Festival on Saturday.

During the performance at Donington Park, guitarist James "Munky" Shaffer, bassist Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu and drummer David Silveria announced, "We've had some issues, but we're going to play on with some friends of ours," according to a blog entry on the Download Festival website.

For the special one-off performance, Korn enlisted a rotating cast of metal vocalists. Jesse Hasek of 10 Years got the show underway with a performance of "It's On." Avenged Sevenfold vocalist M. Shadows delivered a version of "Falling Away From Me." Dez Fafara, the former Coal Chamber and current DevilDriver frontman, sang "Somebody, Someone" and "Coming Undone." He was followed by Benji Webbe of Skindred, who led the band through their nu-metal anthem, "A.D.I.D.A.S." Slipknot/Stone Sour vocalist Corey Taylor wailed on "Clown" and "Freak On A Leash," while Trivium frontman Matt Heafy concluded the performance by belting out "Blind."

Korn's management still hasn't released any details regarding Davis' illness.
