The 11th annual S.C.E.N.E. Music Festival in St. Catharines, Ontario has another impressive lineup of acts scheduled to play this year.

The one-day, all-ages event on July 9 will feature 121 bands and 10 DJs on 16 stages at 13 venues, including the downtown's Market Square. Looking to follow up on the success of last year's endeavour, festival organizers waded through more than 300 applications from potential performers, from which they picked the best international and local bands.

In addition to a slew of Niagara Region up-and-comers, this year's S.C.E.N.E boasts some top Canadian indie acts, including Tokyo Police Club, Alexisonfire, Magneta Lane, Raising The Fawn, The Mahones and rapper Cadence Weapon.

Along with the music, there will be a marketplace set up to sell music from indie labels, merch from participating bands, and goods and services from local artisans and businesses. S.C.E.N.E. will also host the now traditional Mix Tape/CD Trade and Niagara Zine Fiasco.

The first 2,500 festival-goers will receive a free double CD featuring the music of more than 40 of the festival's acts.

Advance all-access tickets are $20 and available in Toronto at Rotate This, through the Bedlam Society store on the MapleMusic website, at Ticketmaster locations, and at 14 other locations in Niagara, London and Hamilton. Wristbands can also be purchased on the day of the fest for $25.
