The Deadbeats And Electric Eel Shock Get Perfect Marks On NXNE Report Cards

Another successful North By Northeast Music Festival wrapped up this past weekend after some 400 bands played 30 downtown Toronto venues.
Over three music-packed nights, ChartAttack reviewers compiled 145 report cards, the highest amount for any music festival yet. The performers were graded on oral and visual communication, musical analysis, as well as other skills and areas of interest. While initial enthusiasm about the fest's talent lineup was relatively low, many clubs were packed with fans and our reviewers gave out lots of marks in the nineties.
But two bands were judged to be perfect: England's The Deadbeats and Japan's Electric Eel Shock.
