On The Road Again: Weakerthans, Rammer And Jon Epworth & The Improvements

It's been too long since we've heard a new Weakerthans album, but hopefully the band will be playing lots of fresh material on their Impossible Distances Tour that will cover Canada, the U.S. and Europe this summer. Here are the Canadian dates:

The members of Toronto thrash metal band Rammer have Cancer. Well, that's the title of their recently released debut album for Blue Fog Recordings, anyway. The band have been around since 1999 and released two EPs and a 12-inch before Cancer. Get the disease at these shows:

East coast rock band Jon Epworth & The Improvements are traversing around eastern Canada this month in support of their new Wet On Wet album. The quartet are fronted by Epworth, who has previously performed with Dean Malenkos, Healthy Collins and Johnny Stevens & The Racket. Wet On Wet was produced by Laurence Currie (Thrush Hermit, Buck 65, Wintersleep). Get moist at these shows:
