Phish Relive Brooklyn On CD And DVD

in
Phish

Phish may have broken up, but they continue to release material for their loyal fans.

Live In Brooklyn is the title of both a new three-CD collection and a two-DVD package that will hit stores on July 11 via Phish's JEMP Records label in association with Rhino. Both will feature the sights and sounds of their June 17, 2004 show at Brooklyn, New York's Keyspan Park.

The audio set covers the band's performance in its entirety. It features more than 20 tracks, including "The Divided Sky," "Axilla" and "Suzy Greenberg." There's also a cover of Edgar Winter's "Frankenstein" and the 2001: A Space Odyssey theme, "Also Sprach Zarathustra."

The collection is divided into two sets and an encore. The concert footage on the DVDs was shot by eight cameras in high definition and simulcast in U.S. theatres. The two discs also include soundcheck excerpts, backstage footage and three songs from the next night's show: "Taste," "Bug" and "Tweezer Reprise."

Former Phishermen Trey Anastasio and Mike Gordon will play Toronto's Hummingbird Centre on July 18 with the Benevento/Russo Duo. Gordon is currently on a brief tour with his country-oriented group, Ramble Dove.
