The world's most famous couple had a baby girl this weekend and we can finally stop paying attention to them. Congrats, Brad and Angelina! Now go away.
Playing the Brooke Shields to Brangelina's Tomkat was Gwen Stefani and, we suppose, ex-Bush man Gavin Rossdale. The couple welcomed their first child into sunny Los Angeles, a baby boy named Kingston James McGregor Rossdale. We'll take that over Suri and Shiloh any day.
According to US Weekly, Kingston weighs 7.5 pounds and was delivered by C-section — which is the only way to bring a celebrity baby into the world, it seems — at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Both Stefani and the baby are reportedly doing just fine.
Stefani first reported her pregnancy immediately following the conclusion of her fall solo tour to support Love.Angel.Music.Baby. By the time she got to Toronto on Dec. 9, she was a whopping four-and-a-half months pregnant.
Lest you think Stefani's packing it in to enjoy motherhood for a good long while, No Doubt bassist Tony Kanal recently told MTV News that the band have started recording tracks for their new album.
"We're easing into it," Kanal said in one of this year's grand understatements.
As we'e sure most No Doubt fans are aware, the band's last record was Rock Steady, which came out five years ago. "We're taking it very slowly, kind of just going in and writing here and there," Kanal added.
