Tommy Hilfiger Beats Up Axl Rose

Bad boy rocker Axl Rose was in a scrap with an unlikely opponent last Thursday, and even more odd is the fact that clothing mogul Tommy Hilfiger started it.
Both men were at a party at New York City's The Plumm nightclub attending the 27th birthday party for actress Rosario Dawson along with the likes of Lenny Kravitz, Kid Rock and Mickey Rourke. They were sitting at a VIP table when the Guns N' Roses leader moved a drink that belonged to Hilfiger's girlfriend, Dee Ocieppo. This apparently angered the 55-year-old fashion designer, who suddenly jumped on Rose and started punching him.
"A bunch of security ran over, but Tommy would not back down," a witness told the New York Post. "He was just out to take him down.
"Kid Rock got trampled by people running over. It was unbelievable."
Hilfiger's personal bodyguard eventually pulled his boss off of the 44-year-old rocker. No charges were filed and the club owner said that both men would be welcomed back anytime.
Later in the night, Rose got on stage to perform a surprise acoustic set for Dawson's birthday. He dedicated the song "You're Crazy" to "my good friend Tommy Hilfiger."
"I moved his girlfriend's drink so it wouldn't spill," Rose said on Los Angeles radio station KROQ the next day. "It was the most surreal thing, I think, that's ever happened to me in my life."
