Hot Chip Keep Busy As New Album Release Approaches

British popsters Hot Chip have been talking about and performing songs from their new album in Canada, and now we'll finally get to hear it on June 13.
The band describe The Warning as having a mix of sounds, with songs ranging from straight-forward danceable pop to softer, funkier tunes. Two singles have already been released from the album, "Over And Over" and "Boy From School." Hot Chip also contributed "I Can't Wake Up" to Paper Bag Records' children's music compilation, See You On The Moon!, which came out earlier this year. It also features songs from Sufjan Stevens, Broken Social Scene, Junior Boys and Fembots, among others.
The band report on their website that they're currently working on remixes for Tilly And The Wall, Adem, the Boggs, Radio 4, Amp Fiddler and Tussle.
Hot Chip played some North American dates earlier this year and will cross the Atlantic for five U.S. dates in August. No Canadian shows are scheduled.

"Over And Over"
"Just Like We Breakdown"
"Tchaparian"
"Look After Me"
