Blood Meridian Will Kick Up The Dust Through The Spring And Summer

Blood Meridian

Singer, songwriter and guitarist Matt Camirand is a busy man these days. His Vancouver-based country-rock outfit Blood Meridian are on the cusp of releasing a new album and have been touring Europe with Black Mountain, for whom Camirand plays bass, and the Pink Mountaintops, in which he also makes the odd appearance.

Kick Up The Dust, Blood Meridian's second full-length, will be released in Canada by Outside Music on July 25. It follows closely on the heels of this year's well-received Soldiers Of Christ EP.

Blood Meridian offer this description of their music on their website: "Sometimes folky, sometimes country, always hard on the rhythms, trying desperately to recall those sweet, sweet grooves of the 60's Motown stuff."
