Red Hot Chili Peppers To Play Eight Canadian Shows In The Fall

If last week's open letter from Flea has you feeling guilty about breaking the collective hearts of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, you'll have your chance to make it up to them when they hit the road and play a city near you this September.

The North American tour, which kicks off in Portland, Oregon on August 11, begins a week after the Chilis' performance at Lollapalooza in Chicago. The band are promoting their new Stadium Arcadium double album, which hits stores on Tuesday but leaked on to the internet last week.

Psychedelic freaks The Mars Volta will open for the Chili Peppers. The band also opened for RHCP the last time they were in Toronto and Flea played on their debut album.
